HOLK TECH

Engineering technology for a more independent world.

HOLK TECH develops secure communication technologies, independent network systems, connected hardware, intelligent manufacturing solutions and digital platforms.

Technology areas

Six disciplines, one workshop.

Each area has its own page. A status is shown only where the lab can support it. Concept means the idea is being shaped. In development means software or hardware is actually being built.

Featured venture

Manufacturing without boundaries.

RentA3DPrinter is a digital marketplace being developed to connect customers with independent 3D printer owners, enabling distributed and locally accessible manufacturing.

The public introduction is live at renta3dprinter.eu. Model preparation, slicing, pricing and a production queue are in the software being built. A finished open network of printers, owner payouts and delivery is not claimed as complete.

Explore the technologies, prototypes and systems we're developing — from initial concepts to working engineering solutions.

From idea to prototype

How a HOLK TECH idea moves.

The same sequence is used whether the subject is a gateway, a marketplace or a communication concept. A later stage is not announced until the earlier one is real.

01

Research

A question is written down before a product name is.

02

Design

The system is drawn as parts a visitor can point at.

03

Prototype

A bench version is labeled as a prototype.

04

Validation

A behavior is checked before it is described as working.

05

Development

Software and hardware move together, one path at a time.

06

Deployment

A service is called operational only after it is.
