HOLK Secure
Concept
Secure communication systems
HOLK Secure is the laboratory track for privacy-first communication. The work looks at how a message can stay protected from the device that sends it to the device that receives it, and how a handset can keep local data under the owner's control.
There is no HOLK TECH handset for sale. The device shown on this page is a conceptual model used to explain the architecture. It is not a photograph of a finished product, and it is not a burner phone.
The sending device prepares the message on the device.
The payload is protected before it leaves. Keys are not stored on this website.
The network carries ciphertext. This is a model, not a live service.
The receiving device recovers the message.
Local storage and erasure are design steps, not a finished handset.
What this area covers
- End-to-end encryption as a design rule: the service that carries a message should not be the place where it is read.
- A privacy-first mobile system, with the screen, radio and protected storage treated as separate parts.
- Hardware-backed identity, so a device can prove it is the device it claims to be without publishing its private key.
- Local protected storage and a deliberate data-erasure path when a device is retired or lost.
Applications
The intended applications are private conversations, protected device login and local records that do not have to sit in a public cloud. None of these applications is an operational HOLK TECH service today.
