Embedded hardware

In development

Custom electronics that connect a machine to software.

The active hardware project is HOLK Connect: an ESP32-S3 board, firmware, device identity and a local printer link.

Other custom products are not announced. HOLK Connect is development hardware. A photograph of the physical board is not published, because the bench view contains device identifiers.

In development

The development hardware is a LILYGO T-Display-S3. Its controller is an ESP32-S3, and the firmware runs on that board. A bench tool has identified the board over USB. This is prototype engineering, not a shipping appliance.

What this work covers

  • A LILYGO T-Display-S3 with an ESP32-S3 controller, a display and physical buttons.
  • Firmware that is provisioned and checked on the bench over USB.
  • An identity that stays on the device, with the service keeping only a hash of the token.
  • A local link toward a printer, tested so far against one Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.
